Our Association

Since 1938, the National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) has represented a wide variety of architectural metal products for building construction.

NAAMM currently has four operating divisions, which promote the use of their specific products through the development and distribution of technical standards.

Through NAAMM, the six divisions receive symbiotic benefits. For example, the Metal Finishes Manual provides information on finishing which is applicable to all Divisions. Issues related to topics of mutual interest to manufacturers, such as workman’s compensation, employee relationships, right-to-know, insurance issues, EPA and OSHA are addressed among NAAMM members.

Hollow Metal
Manufacturers Association

Hollow Metal Manufacturers Association (HMMA) establishes technical specifications and quality standards for hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware components. It provides authoritative guidance to help specifiers, contractors, and owners ensure long-lasting performance and structural integrity in commercial construction.

Expanded Metal
Manufacturers Association

Expanded Metal Manufacturers Association (EMMA) supports the design and production of expanded metal products across the industry. The group provides clear manufacturing standards and technical resources to help you choose the right mesh for structural or architectural needs.

Architectural
Metal Products

Architectural Metal Products (AMP) focuses on custom and decorative metalwork, including stairs, railings, grilles, and ornamental elements. This division offers design guidelines and fabrication specifications to assist architects in seamlessly integrating custom metals into commercial buildings.

Metal Bar Grating (MBG) establishes clear standards and safety guidelines for metal bar grating. It offers reliable technical advice on load limits, materials, and layout so you can build safe, dependable walkways and flooring.
