Everyone at HMMA is proud to host another unforgettable member meeting. On the beautiful sands of Florida’s St. Pete Beach, 26 HMMA members met and discussed:  

  • HMMA 863-24 Guide Specifications for Detention Security Hollow Metal Doors and Frames was approved for ANSI public review and consensus committee balloting.  

  • Technical Consultant, Ike Flory, presented his Q1 report and provided the current ANSI Standard Schedule.  

  • Intertek presented their proposal for ICC 500 Testing.  

  • HMMA 801-12 Glossary of Terms for Hollow Metal Doors and Frames was approved for ANSI public review and consensus committee balloting. 

Members Enjoyed an Amazing Beach Party  

HMMA members representing 20 member companies enjoyed a beach party. While taking in the scenic views of the St. Pete Beach area, members played games, networked with industry experts, and topped off the experience with a group dinner.  

Get Important Joint Testing Updates at HMMA Member Meetings 

At the Annual Spring Meeting, Intertek presented their proposal for ICC 500 Testing and a test for UL 752. The committee plans to meet with Intertek again in June to work out the final levels and plan for testing.
